March into Clarity: A Mindshift Journey from Time Scarcity to Time Clarity and the Paradox of it All

Hello Reader!
The whispers of spring are growing louder as March unfolds, offering a bouquet of opportunities and connections for each of us.🌸
In this month's blog, I'm delving into five paradoxes that emerged when I intentionally shifted my mindset from spending time to actively guarding it.
Especially for those of us juggling multiple roles, the quest for time-saving hacks and efficiency tricks often leads us to "spending" time and cramming more into what can be done, often running ourselves ragged physically, and even more upetting, stealing our joy throughout the day.
But what if our true relationship with time lies not in managing it better but in safeguarding it with clarity and purpose?
Have you considered that each day holds the same 24 hours for each of us just waiting to be embraced? My blog this month reflects on the initial paradoxes I've encountered as I have worked to hold a core mindset that shifts me from being in Time Scarcity and brings about more Time Clarity. Feel free to check out the pardoxes I discoved in the link below.
Also, Reader, you are invited to mark your calendar for a special LIVE workshop with me on Thursday, March 20, at 1:00 PM ET as I dig deeper into the three core mindshifts that I believe can truly transform your life (including the mindshift from Time Scarcity to Time Clarity I mention in my blog). It's an interactive session that promises to be enlightening and enriching. Grab your seat below if you want to join me!
Lets be proactive and take action as we prepare for this bustling Spring season. I'm sharing a few reminders to help infuse more intention and enjoyment into your days as you look ahead:
📝 Identify and schedule moments and activities you look forward to and anticipate with joy and/or excitment
đź—Ł Take deep breaths during moments of stress to nourish your brain with oxygen-rich air to aide clearer thinking
⏳ Set aside time for reflection weekly. This will allow you to discern and prioritize what truly matters to you, your loved ones, and your professional commitments.
Finally, I invite you to revisit an 'oldie but goodie' video I created some time ago that shares ways to nudge us from negative thinking during stressful times. This 3-minute video shares brain-based nudges designed to lower stress, ans I've found it can make a profound difference in stressful days when we choose one or two to pull out when needed.
In presence and purpose,
DeShawn
P.S. If you want to gain more clarity and could benefit from extra support in achieving more peace and enjoyment in your days, you may want to check out my Time Tamers Group Coaching Membership. Hi Reader As we step well into September, I want to share something that weighs on my heart, especially during this time of year: Emotional Labor. The transition from summer to fall would bring a familiar whirlwind of emotions and responsibilities that left me feeling not just busy, but bone-deep tired. It’s that exhaustion that sneaks up on you at the end of the day—not the good kind that comes from meaningful accomplishments, but a weariness that feels heavy and unrelenting. If you’ve ever...
Hi Reader I may be late to the Swifty scene, but I know an empowering message when I hear one. Taylor Swift has a gift—not just for songwriting, but for being unapologetically true to herself. That wisdom didn’t come easy. It’s been shaped through years in the spotlight, relentless public scrutiny, and the demands of a life lived louder and faster than most of us can imagine. But amidst the sparkle and stadiums, she recently dropped a line that stopped me in my tracks. “Think of your energy...
Hello, Reader, I'm officially still on hiatus this month dreaming, reimagining, and designing but mundane stuff still happens and I needed a reminder about procrastination and agency this week and thought you may want in on it, too! Mundane tasks often feel like burdens weighing us down and lead to procrastination. However, a recent discussion with my Time Tamers Coaching Group illuminated a transformative shift I call moving "From Time Pressure to Time Choice." This core mindset-shift...
