Hello Reader,
I'm not sure about you, but I absolutely love summer! ☀️ There’s something magical about relaxing in the golden sunshine, sitting on the porch at dusk with a glass of sweet tea, and watching fireflies dance in the night. 🕊️✨ What spontaneous moments do you enjoy only in summertime?
Yet, I often find those beautiful, spontaneous moments can be more than fleeting, frequently lost amidst the pressures of work and daily demands that eat into our precious free time, called confetti time. I share a little about that here. And that's just the obstacles in trying to savor our moments at home, but what about actually getting away from our work life outside the house?
According to a survey by Project: Time Off, nearly 55% of American workers didn’t use all their vacation days in 2021, resulting in an estimated 488 million unused vacation days. Leaving an average of 5.8 days of earned vacation on the table per employee. 😲
But before I drop this subject on the importance of play altogether, here are a few questions to get you thinking more about your summer ahead...
What are your favorite summer activities that you’ve been wanting to try but haven’t yet? Do you even have a list of activities to try? 🌞
How do you currently prioritize fun and relaxation in your busy schedule? If you need a process, I share an 11-minute video training below called Think-Sift-Shift.🗓️✨
Can you share a recent moment when you felt truly present with your family? What made it special? ❤️👨👩👧
What obstacles prevent you from taking time off or enjoying free time activities? 🚧🕰️
Remember, friends, life is too short to let precious moments slip away. Let’s promise not to let our vacation days fizzle out this summer but make the most of our summer months, one meaningful moment at a time! Is there a question that resonated with you and will you share what you plan to do about it? I love hearing your replies!

Hi Reader As we step well into September, I want to share something that weighs on my heart, especially during this time of year: Emotional Labor. The transition from summer to fall would bring a familiar whirlwind of emotions and responsibilities that left me feeling not just busy, but bone-deep tired. It’s that exhaustion that sneaks up on you at the end of the day—not the good kind that comes from meaningful accomplishments, but a weariness that feels heavy and unrelenting. If you’ve ever...
Hi Reader I may be late to the Swifty scene, but I know an empowering message when I hear one. Taylor Swift has a gift—not just for songwriting, but for being unapologetically true to herself. That wisdom didn’t come easy. It’s been shaped through years in the spotlight, relentless public scrutiny, and the demands of a life lived louder and faster than most of us can imagine. But amidst the sparkle and stadiums, she recently dropped a line that stopped me in my tracks. “Think of your energy...
Hello, Reader, I'm officially still on hiatus this month dreaming, reimagining, and designing but mundane stuff still happens and I needed a reminder about procrastination and agency this week and thought you may want in on it, too! Mundane tasks often feel like burdens weighing us down and lead to procrastination. However, a recent discussion with my Time Tamers Coaching Group illuminated a transformative shift I call moving "From Time Pressure to Time Choice." This core mindset-shift...
